Kidspace is a proud partner of AxS Festival 2014 and has created a special interactive program called The Art and Science of Flight that is designed to explore the art and science of flight and stimulate and inspire curiosity in kids and grownups alike.
Inside Kidspace’s brand new “Imagination Workshop” and “Flutterby Art Center” you can investigate Sir Isaac Newton’s Third Law with stomp rockets! Explore Bernoulli’s principle with paper airplanes, and explore the origins of flight while you make a custom kite creation . . . plus more great activities during each day of the festival. If you already know and love Kidspace Children’s Museum, you know that beautifully integrating art and science is what they do everyday. So come again — or explore for the first time — but engage your curiosity at AxS Festival 2014 | The Art and Science of Flight!
Join Kidspace on Sunday, September 21 (9/21) for a special opening day on the Worldwide Day of Play. Kidspace will celebrate this special day while kicking off the two week AXS Festival during which they will explore this year’s theme “Curiosity” with the art and science of flight. Come join them and help make a giant cardboard “Space City” in the central courtyard, make your very own flying contraptions and test them, or watch an amazing rocket show!
